Happy Birthday to Me!

My family and I celebrated my b-day on Sunday since David and I had to work on Monday (my actual Birthday). David got me an iPod 30GB, which was an awesome surprise. I feel so cool lol. I was having problems with my camera so after almost 2 years I tried to return it. Well, I got a brand new Canon digital rebel XTi 10.1 mega pixel and it didn’t cost me a penny. Latter on that day as a present to my self I went to Ritz camera and bought myself a new lens for my new camera. I should have played the lottery I was feeling so lucky! Needless to say I had a good birthday.
My girlfriend Alexis made me this supper cute card for my birthday. Along with a $50 gift card form Apple to buy any accessory I want. That was a great surprise. She is too awesome.

My friend Kody stopped by on the night of my birthday to laugh, and catch up she got me this cake from Basket Robin. Sean, Kody, and I split the cake I got the part with the flower of course.

Alexis

I just wanted to let you people out there know that my good friend Alexis just started here Blog: www.cardmakinggirl.blogspot.com and if you can’t guess what her specialty is, it’s card making. Check out here stuff ooh… and post a comment.

Star light

I made this decorative star using the Basic Grey Pheobe line. I used some American Craft rub-ons. I got the idea from Paper Crafts Magazine : Baby Creations page 36 the template is online. The G stands for Groovy and the flower in the center has a J and that stands for Jamie.

Thank You

I made this thank you card for Sean’s daycare Teacher Mr. Billy. This week is teacher appreciation week. I used some scraps of paper from American Crafts and some Bazzill Buttons, and Heidi Swapp Thank you stamp.

Stash Your Cash

At the Credit Union we had a week called Nation Youth Week. Basically the slogan was called Stash your cash and the theme was pirates. So I made this treasure chest and put it in front of my station. It worked well! I made it using the Rusty Pickle Cap’n Jack line I bought the wood box at Michael’s and I used some paper ribbon I also bought at Michael’s 10yards for .99

Update

So, April came and went and I haven’t posted anything. I been working on some stuff so don’t fear. Let me update you. I’ve recently received a full time position at the Credit Union. Yeah! Not really exciting, the days are long and a make about 40% of my paycheck after daycare. I’m starting to rethink it all. But if you know me you know that nothing is going to keep be from Scrapbooking
Here is a layout I made using the Basic Grey Phoebe line. When I first moved out to California this was the first car I bought. It totally fit me personality.
